NYMPH
FISHING
Add weight until you start to bump the bottom of the river. Use several small non-lead split shots instead of one big one. (6" to 12" from the fly).
Cast the Nymph 10 feet above where you think trout will be holding. This distance gives time
for the Nymph to sink to the trout's level. Mend twice and keep your rod
pointed at the strike indicator.

When using two Nyrnphs be extra careful when unhooking a fish so you don't hook yourself. Place your strike indicator two times the depth of the water
you're fishing. In tricky currents use two small strike indicators and keep them in line with your rod tip.
When Nymping from a drift boat, cast quarting downstream, approximately 35 feet
from the boat, No need to mend your line as long as the boat and fly line are moving at the same speed.
You can drift 100 yards between cast! When your strike indicator hesitates at all, set the hook. It's a great way to fish in very windy conditions!
Good for beginners, also.

It's always a good day fishing!
